UK's JAMARION WILCOX ARRESTED IN SHOCKING STREET INCIDENT

Welcome to Arrest Stories. University of Kentucky running back Jamarion Wilcox was arrested Friday on first-degree sexual abuse charges following allegations of unwanted sexual contact at an off-campus residence. Here's what may have happened.

On August twentieth, Lexington Police received a disturbing report of unwanted sexual contact at a residence in the five hundred block of South Upper Street. According to police documents, twenty-one-year-old Jamarion Wilcox allegedly snuck into a woman's room while she was sleeping and got "into my bed, without my consent," as stated in the official report.

The alleged victim reported that Wilcox attempted to forcibly open her legs and refused to leave the premises until law enforcement was called. Officers subsequently removed Wilcox from the location that same day. The woman immediately filed for a protective order, which a judge granted as an emergency measure.

Special Victim Section Detectives launched a comprehensive investigation that spanned more than a month before making the arrest on Friday. Wilcox was transported to the Fayette County Detention Center and held on five thousand dollars bond.

The University of Kentucky had already suspended Wilcox in early September for what they termed "a violation of team rules." He has not played this season and was scheduled to miss the upcoming game against South Carolina on September twenty-sixth.

Following the arrest, university officials released a statement saying, "We are aware of the situation with Jamarion and will continue to gather information and monitor the situation closely. He will continue to be withheld from competition and will not travel to South Carolina."

The timing of the arrest, coming just before a major conference game, has sent shockwaves through the UK football program. Wilcox's absence leaves the Wildcats without a key player in their backfield rotation.

The investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the alleged incident at the off-campus apartment.

All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts. Thanks for watching Arrest Stories.
