MAN CONFESSES TO STRANGLING VICTIM, DRAGS BODY TO BACKYARD

Welcome to Arrest Stories. A sixty-six-year-old Fort Worth man stands accused of strangling a flight attendant and disposing of her body sixty-five miles away, only to be undone by an accidental phone call that allegedly captured incriminating conversations.

Here's what may have happened according to official police narratives.

Dennis William Day now faces murder and tampering with evidence charges following his June arrest in Fort Worth, Texas. Authorities allege Day confessed to strangling victim Soluri during what he described as an argument that turned deadly.

The timeline begins in March when digital evidence shows Soluri's final text messages on March nineteenth, followed by her last phone call on March twenty-first. That same evening at ten eleven p.m., surveillance footage allegedly captured Day dragging what appears to be a lifeless body from his home into the backyard.

According to police reports, Day then placed Soluri's body into a trash bin. Investigators say Thomas drove to Day's residence in her pickup truck, which was subsequently used to transport the victim's remains to Bowie, located sixty-five miles from the crime scene.

The case took a dramatic turn when what authorities describe as a butt dial created a voicemail recording. This accidental call allegedly captured male and female voices discussing what appeared to be moving something heavy. Police reports include quotes from the recording, with one voice saying "Make sure the lid's on" and another stating "I'm sorry I got you messed up in this."

Despite the alleged March incident, Soluri wasn't reported missing until June eleventh. Detectives secured a warrant for the victim's cell phone records on June eighteenth, which helped piece together the timeline of events.

Day is being held on a two hundred thousand dollar bond as investigators continue building their case around the surveillance footage, digital evidence, and the inadvertent recording that allegedly captured the aftermath of the crime.

All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts. Thanks for watching Arrest Stories.
