MAN ARRESTED AFTER POSTING GUN THREATS TO POLICE ON FACEBOOK

Welcome to Arrest Stories. A thirty-six-year-old Lancaster man faces terroristic threat charges after allegedly posting over fifty threatening videos to Facebook in a single day, including specific threats to shoot police officers at local departments. Here's what may have happened.

On Friday afternoon, Anthony Tsoflias was taken into custody by East Lampeter Township Police with assistance from Pennsylvania State Troopers after authorities say he made alarming threats against law enforcement on social media.

According to police reports, the investigation began when Wellspan Health public safety personnel alerted East Lampeter Township Police about a threatening Facebook post made within the past hour. The video in question was reportedly posted around four thirty in the afternoon while Tsoflias sat in his car.

In the disturbing footage, authorities say Tsoflias made explicit threats against local police departments. "Enough people know who I am. I could go home, grab my gun, walk down to East Lampeter Township, shoot as many cops as I want dead. Go to state patrol Lincoln Highway, shoot as many cops as I want," he allegedly stated in the video.

Police say Tsoflias didn't stop there, claiming he could "shoot as many cops as I want" and specifically threatening to bring a firearm to both the East Lampeter Township Police Department and Pennsylvania State Police Barracks. Investigators report he even threatened one East Lampeter Township detective by name.

The social media rampage included more than fifty videos posted in just one day, with many lasting about a minute or less. In addition to the Facebook threats, text message screenshots allegedly show Tsoflias claiming to be a CIA member in communications with a law firm employee.

Police moved quickly to obtain an arrest warrant following the threats. Tsoflias now faces two misdemeanor counts of terroristic threats and has been denied bail.

All suspects presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Do not take this report as factual, always verify facts. Thanks for watching Arrest Stories.
